Since September of 1990, Elizabeth E. Castle has served as Chief Apostle of Yissakar International Learning Centers of Higher Thoughts, Inc. now located in four central locations, Sarasota Florida, West Palm Beach Florida, Atlanta, Georgia and Charleston, South Carolina. Apostle Castle is a powerful, anointed prophetess, teacher, speaker and psalmist. Her understanding and unique way of interpreting the Old Testament scriptures along with the unraveling of the New testament scriptures presents a distinctive view into Christian living and offers a diverse group meaningful lens for examining and empowering their lives. By example and decree, Apostle Castle has motivated people to bring about a change in their lives and in turn bring a change to the community.
Dr. Elizabeth E. Castle is a community activist who encourages people to use their own unrealized strengths to overcome life’s challenges. She established an inner city cleanup program called Clean Sweep in 2003, under her non-profit organization “The Agape Resource Collaborative, Inc” (TARC). TARC also offered entrepreneurial education and financial literacy programs to the communities that she served. Dr. Castle has traveled throughout the country helping community focus groups to organize and activate community improvement programs such as “Jacob’s Ladders” an advocacy program for “at risk youth”. Each youth and their family are paired with an advocate who assists the family, and help the youth work towards obtaining educational success. Her community involvement continued in 2006 as she hosted a radio show called Let’s Talk, a live two hour call-in broadcast which aired every Sunday morning promoting healthy living.
Dr. Castle was inspired in 2011 to open a personal counseling service known as A Deeper U which offers assistance to all persons desiring to achieve wellness of body, mind and spirit. Through private counseling sessions she is able to render healing to the whole person.
Apostle Castle received her early education in the Baltimore City public school system. Receiving a full scholarship to the University of Central Florida, and earned the honor of being the first recipient of the “Willie Burton Award”. Dr. Castle received her Bachelor of Biblical Studies from the Love of God Theological Seminary in 1996. She returned to school in the fall of 1998 after receiving the “Martin Luther King Jr scholarship” and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the American International University, where she received a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Psychological Development. Dr Castle also received her Master’s in Education with a specialty in Curriculum Design. She continued to further her education throughout the years at Kaplan University, Argosy University, Palm Beach Atlantic University and Webster University and has received honors from each institution. During the late nineties, in honoring her many accomplishments, Apostle Castle was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Systematic Theology from the Interdenominational Theological Seminary College of Theism, Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland
Also known as “The Eagle-Eye” by her peers because of her special ability to see into the lives of those to whom she ministers, was confirmed in the Apostleship by Apostle Leon Wallace in the late eighties. As a published author and leader in social and civic organizations, Dr. Castle professional memberships included Phi Theta Kappa Incorporated, and serves on the Gullah Geechee Heritage Society board. She is listed in various publications as “Who’s Who” and other noted books of distinction throughout the country. Apostle Castle has travel extensively throughout the United States and West Africa, teaching the Word of God and is currently the spiritual covering for churches in Kenya Nigeria and Liberia.
This devoted woman of God is an educator, entrepreneur, mother, author, radio and television talk show host, community leader, and most of all a humble servant of God.

Juneteenth coordinator will start our Kick-Off at
Jenkins Orphanage on Saturday, June 14, 2014 - 2p.m. Sharp! The whole family is invited to embrace the joy of our liberation through music, African dance, food, and authentic storytelling. A day of fun for the entire family has been designed just for you. The festivities continue on Sunday, June 15, at the Grand Reception for our international dignitaries from Sierra Leone, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and Liberia. The melodic sounds of Abe White will fill the air as you mingle with the Forefathers. The next three days will explode as our souls are rejuvenated in a three-night revival, which is host by Dr. Francis Covington at New Tabernacle Fourth Street Baptist Church 22 Elizabeth Street. Services will begin nightly at 7.00 p.m. On Thursday, June 19, we will learn of our heritage through an investigating tour of Charleston, with Historian Brother Nizar and the evening event, through the eyes of dramatization, will take us through the “Journey.” Friday night, June 20 will uplift our inner man as community choirs participate in the “Praise Off.” Saturday will be our community day of fun at Wragg Square Park- Corners of Second and Meeting Streets.
